Description

Life As an Innocent Waitress takes place in a dystopian present where the female population has fallen dramatically—and women’s rights have declined alongside it. You play as Angelina, known as Angel, who has been living under her “Landlord’s” protection until a series of events forces her to look for work. With no experience and few prospects in a hostile city, she manages to secure a waitress job at a shabby bar. Whether that counts as good fortune is another matter. Dealing with lecherous drunks is only the beginning of Angel’s struggle. From the train to her home and college, she encounters people intent on manipulating, blackmailing, or corrupting her. This harsh, semi-realistic world makes danger a part of everyday life, leaving you to decide how Angel responds to pressure and whether she can preserve her innocence while trying to survive. Rather than making every threat a consequence of a mistake or a willingly accepted risk, Life As an Innocent Waitress is built around a world that actively works against its protagonist. Both straightforward decisions and difficult dilemmas shape Angel’s path, with your responses influencing the outcome. The game aims to distinguish its familiar “world against you” premise through that persistent hostility, making the setting itself a driving force in her struggles. Developed by Frisson Studios, the game is uncensored and available in English for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android through itch.io. Its listed release date is December 29, 2025, and the listed version is 0.4.2 BugFix. An unofficial Italian translation is also listed separately and is not released by the developer.
