Description

In HomeBound, Riki moves through school as though he barely exists—except when he becomes the target of daily humiliation. Rejected by everyone around him, he is caught in a suffocating loneliness, with no sense of belonging to soften the strain. Behind the walls of his home, the tension he has kept buried is nearing its breaking point. An overwhelming panic attack brings that private struggle to a crisis, drawing his striking mother, Naomi, into its consequences. A retired professional psychologist, she now faces a deeply personal moral crossroads alongside her son. What began as Riki’s silent isolation becomes a confrontation at home from which there is no turning back.
