Description

HomeBound follows Riki, a young man who feels invisible at school yet endures humiliation every day. Rejected by those around him and trapped in suffocating loneliness, he carries the weight of that isolation home, where long-repressed tension is nearing its breaking point. An overwhelming panic attack draws Naomi—Riki’s striking mother and a retired professional psychologist—into a crisis with consequences neither can easily escape. Within the confines of their home, mounting emotional pressure brings them to a moral crossroads from which there is no turning back. Centered on alienation, psychological strain, and a family pushed toward a difficult boundary, HomeBound presents an intimate drama in which private suffering can no longer remain hidden. Riki’s loneliness and Naomi’s background frame a tense confrontation with choices that threaten to change their relationship irreversibly.
