Description

Heartsteel is an adult fantasy RPG centered on a solitary human farmer whose quiet rural life is upended by the deep, bloody tensions between humans and elves. When he discovers Asha, a dark-skinned elf wounded and alone, he chooses compassion over fear and secretly takes her into his home to recover—an act punishable by death. Among elves, dark-skinned individuals are treated as property by their pale-skinned kin, used, enslaved, and discarded; among humans, they are seen only as threats. With nowhere to go and no one to trust, Asha slowly begins to rely on her rescuer. She keeps the house while he works the fields, but the harvest can’t feed two mouths, and their time is running short. To survive—and to finally chase the dream he buried years ago—the farmer convinces Asha to join him on the road as an adventurer. Concealed beneath a hooded cloak to hide her identity, the two set out together into a new life, confronting monsters and mercenaries along the way. As danger draws closer, the bond between them deepens, and trust gradually turns to desire, their relationship growing into something far more intimate.
