Grizzly Grove welcomes you to a sprawling coastal city filled with outrageous plots, awkward dialogue, and the possibility of finding true love. You play as Ryan McBright, a 27-year-old man whose name can be customized, returning to his hometown after a ten-year absence. A bitter argument with your mother drove you to leave the family home and move in with your uncle. Since then, you’ve finished high school and worked for his business—but rather than stay away forever, you’ve decided to face the city you left behind. With your uncle’s help, you rent an apartment and set out to build a life of your own. Whether you find your footing or retreat to his house is up to you. A heavily text-based sandbox centered on gay romance, Grizzly Grove lets you choose your own path through its locations and available storylines. Explore the city, meet its residents, and get to know a cast full of hairy, daddy-looking men who give the game its name. Gay content is an integral, unavoidable part of the experience; the listed vaginal-sex tag does not change that focus. Expect an intentionally offbeat mix of over-the-top situations, cringeworthy lines, imperfect English, and opportunities for romance. Currently, two love interests have fully implemented storylines: Dalton Jhonson, your landlord—and your boss if you join JCS—and Garrett Kennedy, your MMA coach at the gym. More storylines are planned for the future. As the developer’s first game, Grizzly Grove has also been shaped by community feedback gathered over a year of development.
