Description

An American with no prospects and a freshly terminated job history takes the only position he can find: teaching English in Japan. He arrives knowing nothing about the culture and unable to speak a single word of the language, plunging headfirst into a country where every routine interaction is a small adventure. Shortly after settling in, he crosses paths with a very strange pair of spirits—and finds himself stuck with them for the next year. Whether they become unlikely companions or a slow descent into madness is entirely up to how he handles the chaos they bring to his already bewildering new life. The question hanging over the whole year is simple: can he stick it out until his contract ends, or will his two otherworldly roommates drive him crazy first?
