Description

Five Nights At Sexy’s invites you to apply for a seemingly straightforward position: night security guard at the company’s Plant No. 7. Your shift runs from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., and your workplace is the plant’s security office. No qualifications are required, although applicants with previous experience will receive preference. According to the job listing, your duties consist solely of monitoring security cameras. You can stay seated for the entire shift—in fact, the company insists there is absolutely no reason to leave your chair. It is a simple assignment on paper, presented with unusually emphatic reassurance. The employer also assures prospective applicants that every previous employee completed their contract and now holds a key role within the company. With applications warmly welcomed, Five Nights At Sexy’s frames its invitation around an overnight job whose carefully worded promises give the otherwise ordinary vacancy an unsettling edge.
