Bitter Irony follows a 33-year-old former police detective whose past refuses to stay behind him. Dubious information from an unverified source once led him to investigate an unusual clue, bringing him into conflict with one of the city’s organized crime leaders. Now working in advertising and entertainment, he faces a different crisis: his company could go bankrupt because of its boss’s shady reputation. As old cases resurface, he must revisit unfinished business, encounter questionable characters, and uncover how the lives of six women connect to his own. The game puts its story ahead of frequent sex scenes, allowing its adult content to develop rather than introducing it immediately. All six women are potential love interests, and the protagonist can pursue every romance for roughly 70% of the game before ultimately choosing one partner. The developer does not intend the story to be strictly realistic or entirely believable, and explicitly rules out NTR and forced sex scenes. Its presentation combines 3DCG artwork and animation with romance, graphic violence, and adult themes including exhibitionism, voyeurism, masturbation, interracial encounters, and women with large breasts and buttocks. Planned content includes MILFs, virgin characters, male domination, sex toys, breast sex, handjobs, oral sex, vaginal and anal sex, masturbation, and creampies. Beyond NTR, the developer excludes partner sharing and MMF encounters, incest, pegging, rape, scat, swinging, futanari or trans content, gay content, bukkake, bestiality, loli content, and female domination.
