Description

At twenty-two, Alan imagined building a billion-dollar startup and retiring young. Instead, he finds himself holding the keys to the Grand Starlight, an aging hotel in the heart of Italy—a country whose language he barely understands. In Figaro Hotel, there’s no staff to lean on and no instructions to follow. There’s only Alan, a front desk, and a guest register filled entirely with women. Among the guests are an elegant woman vacationing with her wary daughter, a devoted couple whose closeness may be a little excessive, and a girl constantly absorbed in her laptop, keeping her projects hidden from everyone else. Then there’s the quiet stranger, whose background remains a mystery. They all have stories, but discovering them means deciding who deserves your attention—and your trust. Requests for help begin arriving on Alan’s very first day, drawing him beyond the front desk and into the lives of the people staying under his roof. Who you listen to, who you believe, and how far you choose to get involved shape the paths ahead. Each decision opens possibilities while quietly shutting others away. You’ve checked into the Grand Starlight; what happens next is up to you.
