Fake Family returns to the world of Chloe18 from a different perspective, picking up where Chloe18 Back to Class left off: Chloe wants everyone to believe her own promiscuous reputation is exaggerated—and that Taylor is far worse. You play as Trevis, whose attempt to become a criminal to impress a girl ended disastrously. With Chloe’s help, he takes on a new identity as Taylor’s brother, finding what initially seems like the perfect place to hide. Keeping up that deception soon becomes more than a cover story. While posing as Taylor’s brother, Trevis sets out to corrupt Taylor and her entire family—a task he is hardly reluctant to embrace. The game offers another angle on the Chloe18 setting, bringing back the attractive, realistically portrayed women familiar to fans. This small test demo precedes the next full version, which had been in development for a year and a half at the time of the demo’s release. It introduces new interactive scenes, tests the new C++ engine’s background-loading system, and includes a range of quality improvements. Old saves cannot be loaded in this demo, though support is planned for the final version. In the meantime, frequent automatic saving keeps your progress recorded. Launch the game using its .bat file, or, if you prefer, open the Fake FamilyD folder and double-click Fake Family.exe directly. An in-game walkthrough and options menu are available by pressing Esc or the middle mouse button.
