In Fairy And Transmuter, a transmuter dismissed by the king after failing to cure the princess’s illness sets out to continue his research in another kingdom. He warned the king that only his work to transmute a “Mythical Life Rejuvenate Crystal” could awaken the princess from her coma, but his words went unheeded. Now, working from a cheaply rented house, he begins experimenting with different materials to transmute simpler items and develop his craft. Progress comes at a cost: he needs materials for his experiments and enough gold to keep paying the rent. Local shops charge high prices for ingredients, leaving him to choose between expensive purchases and gathering supplies in the forest himself. Some rare ingredients cannot be bought in ordinary shops at all, making exploration essential—but the forest is dangerous, and every journey calls for preparation. On his first trip into Aria Forest, he discovers an exhausted, badly injured fairy battling a dark spider. He intervenes, blocking the creature’s attack and killing it before using his last potion to treat the fairy’s critical injuries. Cutting his expedition short, he carries her home to continue caring for her. The next morning, she wakes and embraces him in gratitude. When he takes the fairy back to the place where he found her, intending to let her go, she refuses to leave his side. Drawn to her rescuer, she chooses to stay with him, marking the beginning of their daily life together as he continues his research into transmutation.
