Description

Winter brings restless days and overflowing emotions to the newly developed district near the urban center of Megumi City. On Christmas Eve, an utterly ordinary young man encounters a mysterious girl while running an errand. He has no memory of meeting her, yet something about her feels strangely familiar. That encounter sets the story of Eve Of The 12 Months in motion, weaving together the fates of people with different desires: one hopes to preserve their happy days together, another has something to gain, and a third is determined to achieve their goal. Yuki Unahara is a girl from the future, though she keeps that fact a secret. Suffering from an incurable illness, she joins Naoto’s circle of friends to investigate its cause. Unapologetically blunt, Yuki says exactly what she thinks, often leaving others with the wrong impression. She may come across as scatterbrained, but beneath that ditzy exterior, she is anything but. Anzu Shiina is Mizuka’s younger sister and the group’s levelheaded voice of reason. She routinely makes up for her older sister’s lack of discipline and plays the straight man to her friends’ antics. Sensible and composed as she usually is, unexpected situations can quickly send her into a panic. She is also exceptionally athletic, despite not belonging to any clubs. Mizuka Shiina feels most at ease when she, Anzu, and Naoto are all getting along. Lazy and somewhat listless, she nevertheless has a good-natured disposition and an exceptional memory. Her favorite things include cats and Anzu’s breasts—a decidedly less restrained contrast to her younger sister’s sensible personality.
