A scout is lost if a monster impregnates her, and the game ends only when every scout has been defeated and claimed by the creatures. Rather than relying on traditional RPG leveling, Eggomon emphasizes balanced combat that remains challenging. Your monster team can grow stronger over time, but those improvements often come from activities outside battle. Fighting is therefore a necessary risk rather than a straightforward route to power, consuming valuable food and medicine as you push onward. Planned options for choosing different starting locations and characters will also let returning players explore newly added zones and encounter new monsters without first repeating familiar content.
