Description

In Echoes Of Ash, you play a former soldier—the only survivor of a mysterious catastrophe, with no memory of what happened in the city where it struck. Fragments of the past return in your dreams, but they offer no easy answers. After months of interrogations, the Empire erased you from its history, leaving you to move on with questions you still cannot resolve. Your search for a fresh start takes you to Stoneford, a city on the edge of civilization where adventurers, mercenaries, and criminals struggle to survive. Here, you take on contracts, meet companions, and make choices as you build a life beyond the shadow of your former service. Yet leaving the past behind is harder when pieces of it keep coming back. As you gradually uncover the truth, each returning memory brings you closer to understanding the catastrophe you alone survived. But discovery offers little comfort: the more you remember, the harder it becomes to shake the feeling that some things should have stayed forgotten.
