Description

Devotion is a text-based sandbox game that pairs its storytelling with illustrations intended to broadly reflect the characters, locations, and unfolding scenes. You play as a young woman living with her “landlord” and “roommates,” all of whom share the aftermath of a terrible tragedy. Now, it is time to begin moving forward and repair what has been broken. Rebuilding your relationships with the people closest to you is at the heart of that journey. Alongside those personal connections, you must work toward graduation, decide which direction to take in life, and seek someone to love. The sandbox format gives these goals room to unfold as parts of a larger story about finding your footing again. With its focus on relationships and life after loss, Devotion brings everyday ambitions together with the emotional challenge of starting over. Your future is about more than finishing school or choosing a path—it also means reconnecting with those around you and making space for love.
