Description

Devotion is a text-based sandbox game with illustrations intended to broadly reflect its characters, story, locations, and scenes. You play as a young woman living with her “landlord” and “roommates,” all of whom have endured a terrible tragedy. With that painful experience behind you, the focus turns to moving forward and repairing what has been broken. Rebuilding relationships with the people closest to you is at the heart of the journey, but it is only one part of shaping your future. You must also work toward graduation, choose a direction in life, and find someone to love. These personal goals give Devotion a story centered on connection, recovery, and the uncertainty of starting again. Its sandbox format provides the framework for exploring that next chapter, bringing everyday ambitions together with the emotional task of reconnecting. As you find your way forward, the game keeps its attention on the bonds you hope to restore and the life you want to build.
