In DarkFire, the city has gone dark, and whatever has taken the place of its lights isn’t simply out to kill you. Your last stand is a single rooftop, with one rifle, dwindling supplies, and a corruption gauge that rises whenever something gets its hands on you. Holding the line means more than staying alive: it means fighting to stay yourself as the darkness climbs the wall. This 2D, side-view stationary survival shooter keeps you rooted in place while you aim, fire, reload, switch, and work through what remains of your inventory. With no movement to fall back on, survival depends on how you handle the threats approaching your rooftop and make use of your remaining resources. The corruption mechanic also triggers capture sequences featuring explicit pixel-art content integrated directly into gameplay. DarkFire’s survival challenge spans twenty waves across three acts, each ending with a boss encounter. Roguelite progression gives each failed stand a lasting benefit: when you die, your permanent upgrades remain, letting you return to the rooftop and try again.
