Description

In Cyber Shop, your father’s death leaves you facing a debt of fifteen thousand credits owed to Evelyn. Her solution is to give you the pawn shop beneath her office and put you to work earning back the money. With a hefty sum to repay, every deal is a chance to make progress—and every negotiation deserves your attention. Customers arrive one at a time, either carrying something to sell or looking to buy an item from your shelves. Your job is to settle on a price, but each visitor brings a different challenge. Some know precisely what their belongings are worth, while others are less informed. None have endless patience, so you’ll need to judge how far to push a bargain before the opportunity slips away. There’s more to these encounters than buying low and selling high. The better you get along with a customer, the more she is willing to show you, giving your relationships a role alongside the daily business of running the shop. Balancing profitable deals with a good rapport is part of making your way out of your father’s debt.
