Description

Spending the summer at her father’s quaint country café is not June Pinegar’s idea of a getaway. Forced to work far from her home in New York City, she finds herself adjusting to the unfamiliar rhythms of a Southern town. Yet with each passing day, the place’s intriguing atmosphere becomes harder to resist, and an unwanted change of scenery begins to offer possibilities of its own. In Corona Borealis, June has the chance to build connections that take different forms. Romance may blossom with the dutiful barista, friendship could grow with the bubbly cashier, or she might begin repairing her strained relationship with her quirky father. Each possibility brings a different kind of closeness into a summer spent away from everything she knows. This heartwarming story looks beyond romantic attraction to explore the depth and significance of non-romantic relationships as well. At its center is the lasting influence people can have on one another—a theme woven through June’s growing attachment to the town and the connections she may find there.
