Description

In Canticle, an invitation from Father Orson, Prior of the Lucent Priory, calls you to Starfall Isle to become the order’s newest scribe. Chosen by the Cantor from among many worthy souls, you will join skilled arcanists in creating the next great Incantation: a powerful tome of magic shaped by the knowledge and efforts of many minds. Your work will involve studying a variety of scholarly fields and finding your place within the priory. Those first lessons may prove challenging, but you will not face the adjustment alone. Other new Brothers will arrive alongside you, offering mutual support as you settle into priory life and contribute to this shared magical undertaking. Enclosed with Father Orson’s letter are 10 silver coins to fund your journey, along with a request to reach Starfall Isle before spring begins. With his blessing—“May the Sisters guide you”—your invitation opens the way to a life of scholarship, fellowship, and collaborative arcane work at the Lucent Priory.
