Description

Poverty felt easier when childhood happiness softened its edges. Now, grief, shouting, and unpaid bills dominate Natasha’s world. Set in the small town of Queen, Caged follows a beautiful, shy, dark-haired young woman whose academic success promises a way out. The top student in her final undergraduate year, Natasha works hard and stays on the right path, determined to build a bright future on her own terms. That future falls apart when her stepfather steals millions from members of her university’s Board of Directors, and Natasha is expelled. Forced to bear the consequences of his deception, she must find a new route to success while struggling against the stigma of being a con man’s daughter. The independence she once seemed certain to achieve is suddenly far beyond her reach. With her plans in ruins, Natasha faces harsh realities and the distracting attention of new suitors, each threatening to pull her further from the life she wanted. Her fate rests in your hands: will she overcome her circumstances and reclaim her dreams, or will poverty and dependence become the invisible bars of her cage?
