Description

Bunny Black follows Dierks, a lecherous adventurer whose journey into the labyrinth known as the Maou’s Forest ends in defeat at the hands of the maou himself. Rather than finish him off, the demon lord takes pity on Dierks and offers him a place in his army. With an unexpected second chance, Dierks sets his sights on climbing the demon army’s ranks—and pursuing sexual encounters with the female challengers who arrive to attack his new master. Developed and published by SofthouseChara, Bunny Black combines dungeon-crawling RPG gameplay, strategy RPG elements, and adventure-style storytelling with a male protagonist and a demon-filled fantasy setting that also includes a dragon. Its adult material begins early and remains prominent, with themes including sexual violence, energy transfer through sex, and encounters involving one man and multiple women. A harem ending and New Game Plus are among its features, while its estimated length of 30–50 hours makes it a substantial adventure. Also known as BUNNYBLACK and バニーブラック, the game was originally released in Japanese on July 30, 2010, with an English translation by Seiha Translations following on April 1, 2015. This listing covers the censored version 1.21; its sequel is Bunny Black 2. For the Windows release, the supplied setup instructions call for mounting BUNNYBLACK.mdf, running install.EXE, applying the English v1.00 patch in the installation folder, skipping the v1.20 patch, and then copying the v1.21 files into that folder before launching Bunny.EXE. Windows 10 users are directed to extract the mounted image’s files and use Windows 7 compatibility mode for the installer, patch executable, and game. Save-creation errors may stem from permissions in the default Program Files/bunny directory and can be addressed by running the game as administrator or moving it elsewhere. Any separately listed unofficial port or version was not released by the developer.
