In Broken Hearts Island, aspiring oceanographer Christopher discovers a strange manuscript among the belongings he inherited from his grandfather. Around the same time, a mysterious call begins drawing him toward a remote location in the Atlantic Ocean. What awaits him is an island that ships and airplanes avoid—and a mystery bound to his family’s past. Finding a way off the island will take more than determination. Christopher must get to know its inhabitants, some of whom are far from friendly, and earn their trust as he uncovers the island’s history. His search for the truth is also a struggle to unravel his grandfather’s secrets and destroy the curse that hangs over his family. Breaking the cycle comes at a painful price: sacrificing love.
