Description

In Beyond The Game, Jax is a university student whose academic success stands in sharp contrast to his difficult personal life. After losing his family at a young age, he grew up in an orphanage before earning a scholarship from Virgo Corporation. His achievements drew the attention of the company’s executives, including its owner, Megan, who invited him to live with her family. Unable to have children of their own, Megan and Logan had already welcomed Brian and Kayla into their home, making Jax the fifth member of an unconventional household. Yet a place in the family did not mean an easy life. Physically stronger than Jax, Brian bullied him for years, leaving him caught in a familiar sense of helplessness. While Jax excelled in his studies, he struggled to connect with others, and Kayla was his only friend for a long time. That isolation began to ease when he met Derek, who soon became a close friend, though stepping out of his shell remained a challenge. An unexpected invitation from the school team’s coach gives Jax a new opportunity. Despite his physical disadvantages compared with his peers, the coach recognizes his potential and wants him on the team. As Jax’s popularity gradually grows, he must adjust to a changing social life and find a balance he has never needed before. With new possibilities opening up, a place on the school team could be the first step toward something far greater—perhaps even stardom.
