Developed by 6six6 in RPG Maker MV, Between is an original RPG that draws inspiration for its storytelling and gameplay mechanics from the Persona, Xenoblade, Trails/Kiseki, and Final Fantasy XIV series. Your journey takes you through distinctly themed dungeons known as Oases, where transformative forces may be resisted or accepted. Their themes and transformations span sex changes, catgirls, fantasy heroes, cyberscapes, and more, bringing varied settings and possibilities to your encounters with this unpredictable world. Combat emphasizes strategy, rewarding both thoughtful preparation and the decisions you make during battle. No grinding is required, and flexible approaches let you develop your own tactics rather than hunt for a single intended solution. Difficulty options allow you to adjust the challenge, while optional superbosses throughout the story offer demanding encounters for players eager to master the combat system. Adult themes and scenes are present, but rarely take center stage; instead, the game includes them when they suit the story. A passion project in development since late 2020, Between has continued to grow and evolve through community feedback as 6six6 refines the game and develops the story with each release.
