Description

In Beggar’s Keep, you step into the role of Rami Hoshino, a brilliant prodigy graduating from the Kingdom of Arkelion’s main military academy. With her studies behind her and a military career ahead, she eagerly awaits the assignment that will mark the beginning of her life as an officer. Her posting, however, is far from what she had hoped for: Rami is appointed captain of a run-down fort on the kingdom’s outskirts. For such a promising graduate, the neglected stronghold is a disappointing place to begin. The excitement of graduation gives way to the reality of an assignment that falls well short of her expectations. Yet Rami refuses to let an unglamorous start define her future. Determined to give the position her best, she holds firmly to her dream of becoming the greatest captain Arkelion has ever known. Beggar’s Keep places that ambition at the heart of her story, as an accomplished academy student takes her first steps into command at an unlikely posting.
