Description

Before Contact: Eleven is an atmospheric visual novel about a young man leaving an abusive home and taking his first steps toward a fresh start. After years of being made to feel like an unwanted burden, he arrives in Blackwater Ridge with little more than a backpack of salvaged junk, plans to attend college, and the hope that life can be different. A woman he knew from the orphanage offers him a place to stay, giving him a starting point in an unfamiliar town. His first day introduces him to a new home and new people, opening up possibilities far removed from the life he has left behind. Even these ordinary beginnings carry weight for someone only just finding the chance to build a future of his own. Centered on the transition from a painful past to an uncertain new chapter, Before Contact: Eleven pairs its atmospheric presentation with a personal story of starting over. Blackwater Ridge is the setting for that fragile beginning—a place where the prospect of college, a welcoming connection, and unfamiliar faces offer reasons to look ahead.
