Description

Babu Me Baby! follows Osanai Haruki, an overworked corporate employee whose psychiatrist, Minato Sakura, recommends that he undergo “regression therapy.” The treatment brings a deeply repressed desire to the surface: Haruki longs to return to infancy, stepping away from the demands of his adult life. As Haruki embraces this regression, he becomes dependent on Sakura and her younger sister, Yuki. Both possess overpowering maternal instincts, placing their nurturing roles at the center of his changing relationships with them. What begins as a course of therapy develops into a story of dependence, care, and growing emotional closeness. The narrative explores the consequences of Haruki’s regression and the ways it shapes the interactions among all three characters. With his newfound vulnerability drawing them closer, Babu Me Baby! focuses on the unusual bonds that form between a weary employee and the two sisters who become central to his life.
