Description

Anthesis is a battle-free exploration RPG centered on Natsu, an ordinary girl who finds herself cursed by a devil. To break the seal and set the devil free, she must gather “dpt”—Haiki, or Desuetude Energy—a resource she can only accumulate by being drawn into all manner of H situations, often against her will. With each encounter, flowers bloom in her heart and she grows steadily lewder. The game unfolds under a strict day limit, so until the deadline arrives, Natsu has plenty to juggle: pursuing H events (or avoiding them), taking temporary work, snacking, hunting down mysterious medals, and more—and certain status values can influence which ending she ultimately reaches. Efficiently collecting dpt sometimes requires earning money first, and most actions consume her Activeness. That energy replenishes through sleeping, eating snacks, taking baths, and similar restful activities. Spending dpt gradually disenchants the seal, and along the way she picks up Magic Energy, which the devil uses to draw out the heroine’s inner natures. These inner natures unlock additional H events, boost gameplay efficiency, and serve other purposes—cultivating many of them makes Natsu increasingly lewd. Be careful, though: if she indulges in nothing but H activities, she may become infamous, which can trigger special events and, if pushed too far, a bad ending. This English release (version 1.11) from developer/publisher Shimobashira Workshop, translated by EWN with mosaic censorship, runs on Windows and features 2DCG, an RPG structure, a female protagonist, and themes of corruption, prostitution, and a range of explicit encounters.
