Description

In A Long Journey, the year is 2048, and humanity’s future on Earth is growing increasingly bleak. As the environment deteriorates, people crowd into dangerous, cramped megacities with little hope of a better life. With government backing, the vast Hawkink Tech corporation has completed the first colony ships and sent them toward distant, habitable planets, offering colonists a chance to leave their dying world behind. The protagonist is a bright young software engineer willing to risk his life for that chance. Driven by a dream of helping build a new society, he joins the journey into deep space—only for something to go wrong. Waking from cryo-sleep far too early, he finds himself seemingly alone aboard a huge, empty ship hurtling through the void. But someone else is awake: a beautiful young woman with flaming red hair, already scarred by months of isolation. Angry and emotionally wounded, she becomes his only companion in a situation neither of them expected. Can they find a way to work together and escape their predicament, or is there more behind their early awakening than first appears?
