Between Humanity places you in a possible future just five years away, where everyday life edges toward dystopia. You play an ordinary student whose routine is abruptly interrupted when you wake up in a hospital room. Your memories of how you arrived there are hazy, and trying to return to normal only reveals that something has fundamentally changed. An invitation to stay at your best friend’s house gives you a new place to live, but sharing a home with her, her mother, and her sister brings its own complications. Each has personal problems and daily struggles, and your presence puts you in the middle of their lives while you’re still trying to make sense of your own. What seems like a chance to regain some stability becomes a situation in which your decisions matter to more than just you. Choice is central to Between Humanity: the decisions you make shape your protagonist’s life and affect friends and loved ones along the way. Against its near-dystopian backdrop, the game puts the direction of these intertwined lives in your hands. Developed by DebatingPanda, Between Humanity is available in English and is uncensored.
