Description

Cloud Cuckoo Land is a gay adult visual novel available for free on itch.io. Set in a minimum-security prison, it follows a protagonist whose powerful imagination and lazy disposition have made daydreaming a defining habit. After spending much of your adult life retreating into fantasy, your relationships with the people around you have fallen apart—and one desperate decision has landed you behind bars. Your plan is simple: keep your head down, avoid trouble, and get through your sentence as smoothly as possible. With good behavior, an early release seems within reach. But a very strange encounter inside the prison threatens to unravel that hope, calling your beliefs into question and putting your sanity under strain. What begins as an effort to stay out of trouble becomes a struggle to hold yourself together. With haunting nightmares threatening to consume you, Cloud Cuckoo Land asks whether you can stay on your feet when the imagination that once offered an escape may no longer feel like a refuge.
