Description

Every year, Pineridge hosts the Running of the Wolves Festival, an event that puts a decidedly adult twist on the idea of running with the bulls. In The Running Of The Wolves, crowds of hopeful applicants compete for a place, but only a select few get to take part. Some are drawn by the prizes, others by the challenge—yet most sign up for the chance to be hunted through the countryside by a pack of lustful wolves. On paper, the goal is to be the last remaining competitor to reach the finish line. In practice, each year’s festival leaves the landscape around Pineridge scattered with sticky, unconscious, but thoroughly satisfied participants. And the wolves aren’t the only creatures roaming these wilds: before competitors even encounter the pack, they may cross paths with something else living beyond the town.
