Mamatomo (ママトモ) follows Hino Shouta after his award-winning entry in a summer contest saves the Literature Club from losing its clubroom. His success leaves him pursued by his sister Emi and her friends, with whom he has grown close. When mandatory classes and training camps for college and employment preparation keep the older girls occupied throughout summer break, Shouta thinks he finally has some freedom. That changes when he overhears his mother, Hino Kokona, planning a trip with her close friends Nashiki Yua and Arima Bluette—and finds himself more or less roped into joining them. With swimming on the itinerary, the three women become concerned about their figures and decide to diet before the trip.
