Strange App begins with an apparently harmless puzzle game: soft pastel colors, soothing music, and an easy way to unwind one night. You pass it along to your friends, but the app does more than entertain. It watches, learns, and whispers, gradually reshaping what your friends believe they want—and what you want, too. As innocent fun gives way to something far more unsettling, how long will it take to realize you are no longer the one in control? With the population declining rapidly, a mad doctor has decided to intervene by creating an app designed to address the crisis. His first trial subject is Nathan, an ordinary bartender with a loving family and a circle of friends. What looks like a simple game places Nathan at the center of an experiment, while Professor Tanaka observes a subject playing each night. To the professor, you are nothing more than another test subject. Every playthrough opens with a coin flip that randomly determines which group you share the app with first: your Besties—Lulu, Demi, and Alex—or your Home Squad—Jewelz, Emily, and Haley. That chance outcome changes the starting point of each run. The other group remains within reach, but bringing them into the fold will be harder, as the app’s influence slowly turns a casual recommendation into something much more consequential.
