Description

In Written In The Sky, Azure’s curiosity leads her into a mystery far beyond anything she could have imagined. The daughter of a detective, she has always felt compelled to observe unusual people and puzzling discoveries until she can make sense of them. One night, that instinct draws her after a suspicious figure—and straight to a strange black box covered in alien writing. Inside lies a small ring, exactly her size, inscribed with the same unfamiliar symbols. The moment she picks it up, she hears footsteps behind her. Frightened, Azure races home with the ring. Safe at last, she examines the little trinket and questions why she put herself in danger for it. Then she slips it onto her finger and discovers that her impulsive decision carries consequences she cannot undo. The footsteps belonged to Sienna, a small alien girl who reveals that the jewelry is no ordinary keepsake: it is an alien mating ring, and once worn, it cannot be removed. Sienna, the daughter of the emperor of Mars, has come to Earth to recover the ring after the FBI stole it during an intergalactic peace conference. As the key to peace between the planets, its return is crucial—but it has already chosen Azure as its host and bound itself to her forever. That bond also ties Sienna to the human girl, making Azure’s chance discovery the beginning of a connection neither can escape: Sienna is now fated to be her lover.
