Description

Vald’s Quest: Daemonreign follows Vald, a mercenary from overseas, into the Kingdom of Asprava—a land conquered by the forces of an all-powerful Demon Queen. His mission is to confront, defeat, and conquer the villainous women serving under her command, bringing former enemies into his party along the way. As for rescuing the kingdom itself? Whether that becomes part of his agenda is up to you. Set in an original fantasy world, this adult RPG draws inspiration from the Rance series and older Black Lilith titles such as Himekishi Lilia, aiming to recapture the spirit of classic eroge and adult JRPGs. Tactical JRPG battles, character upgrades, and exploration form the core of the adventure, while sexual encounters play into its irreverent premise of turning defeated evil women into companions. Don’t expect Vald to be a spotless knight in shining armor—or a blank slate. He is a roguish, seasoned mercenary with a pre-written personality, though your decisions let him act more or less nobly as circumstances arise. Think of an established protagonist in the vein of Cloud or Geralt rather than the more player-defined Shepard of the first Mass Effect. Despite the game’s influences, Vald is not Rance: he brings his own character to this blend of fantasy adventure, tactical combat, and adult encounters.
