Tool Others Atlas – Game Manager for F95, Steam, GOG – Windows, Linux
Developer pages: Discord
Description
Atlas is an open-source game manager for Windows and Linux, built to make collections of any size easy to organize, search, and launch. Its modern interface stays responsive whether you have a few favorites or hundreds of titles spread across multiple sources, with a focus on convenience and letting the software handle the busywork. Browse, install, and manage titles from F95Zone, CENSORED, Steam, and AtlasDB within the client, or import your GOG library. Signing in to Steam lets you import owned games whether they are installed or not, while login support for F95Zone, CENSORED, and Steam includes two-factor authentication and passkeys, with more services planned. A clean, fast gallery displays banners and thumbnails, while custom local tags with autocomplete, hand-picked collections, and flexible search and filtering help you find exactly what you want. Save searches and filters for quick access, track play states separately for each title and version, and record playtime both per version and across a title’s combined versions. Atlas delivers automatic update information and notifications for F95Zone and other sources through its metadata server every one to three hours, and it can download game files directly in the client; currently, this is supported only for PixelDrain and Mega.nz links on F95Zone. Replacing an older version takes a simple selection, deletes its game files, and removes its old listing, with play-state tracking updating when the version is replaced. Atlas also includes an updater for the manager itself. Library migration and maintenance are equally flexible. Bulk scanning and importing let you add or install hundreds of games at once, including collections with complex folder layouts defined through your own regular expressions. Import an existing Game-List library using GL_infos.ini files, or bring in data from another client, with F95Checker currently supported. ZIP extraction is available, although some RAR-related bugs remain, and installed games can be moved and sorted easily. You can audit metadata and correct errors originating from source websites, customize banners and gallery items, and build your own look with the integrated theme editor and more than 29 themes in the repository. Themes, banner presets, and queries can be exported, while images can either be streamed or downloaded and converted to WebP for local storage. AtlasDB is Atlas’s own controlled metadata source, designed to complement other services rather than replace them. It links titles across sources, pulls and merges their information, and supports administrator-curated links and mappings, along with custom metadata that can serve as overrides. Fully custom entries are also supported: titles absent from F95Zone or other supported sites can be entered manually or mapped through a Steam or GOG link so their metadata can be streamed to the client. Atlas welcomes developer contributions and additional trusted AtlasDB administrators, and users can report bugs, request features, or discuss problems through GitHub issues and the active Discord community.
