Description

In The Princess, The Stray Cat, And Matters Of The Heart, Nora shares a home in Sakuragabuchi with Shachi, a younger girl adopted by his mother. After his mother’s death, support from the people around them helped the two grow up well. Shachi is deeply attached to Nora, starting each morning by straddling him in bed to wake him up before they leave for school. There, they spend their days with friends such as Michi, their childhood friend and head of the discipline committee, and Yuuki, Nora’s cheerful, gyaru-like junior. That familiar routine takes an extraordinary turn when Nora encounters Patricia in a park on his way to school. A princess of the Underworld, she has entered the world of the living on her mother’s orders: destroy everything and remind humanity of death. Yet the sheer strength of the life energy surrounding her proves overwhelming, leaving her ill before she can carry out her mission. Nora comes to Patricia’s aid, and his kindness leads the visiting princess to fall in love with him. Eager to understand the unfamiliar world around her, she asks him to explain the “mysteries of life.” But with that education somehow involving pornographic books, Nora’s everyday school life is suddenly tangled up in a bewildering encounter between human affection and an Underworld princess’s destructive duty.
