Description

The Last Year blends visual novel storytelling with sandbox gameplay in a mix of teenage drama, romance, and mystery. You step into the role of a male student entering his final year of high school, making choices and building relationships as a once-in-a-lifetime chapter of school life draws to a close. When life in the big city becomes too expensive, you’re forced to return to your small hometown. Your mom helps you settle into a cheap apartment, leaving you to spend your last school year back where you came from. It’s a change of plans that sets the stage for new memories, personal connections, and decisions about how to spend the time you have left. With the freedom of a sandbox and the character-focused experience of a visual novel, The Last Year puts your choices at the heart of that final stretch. How you approach relationships and navigate school life will shape your experience. This year won’t come around again—what will you make of it?
