Description

Love, creativity, and the promise of youth come together in Sousaku Kanojo No Ren’ai Koushiki. This spring, Kagami Toshiki moves into his cousin’s home in Tokyo with a goal beyond simply starting a new life: he wants to rediscover his creative spark. After passing the entrance exam for Saika Academy, a private school that gathers young creators from a wide range of fields, he hopes that studying alongside others his age will help him overcome the writer’s block that has troubled him for the past six months. Years earlier, Toshiki shared his creative ambitions with his childhood best friend, Ayase Aisa. The two encouraged each other to improve, though Toshiki gradually began to feel a growing distance between them. When family circumstances took Aisa to Tokyo, they maintained their friendship through letters, sharing news of their lives and exchanging the novels they wrote. Then, when Aisa started school, her replies abruptly stopped, leaving Toshiki without an explanation. Despite losing contact with Aisa, Toshiki continued pursuing his craft. He made indie games and found success with his first published light novel, building momentum as a creator until his recent slump brought that progress to a halt. Now, with Saika Academy offering the possibility of renewed inspiration, he is ready to begin again—only to unexpectedly encounter Aisa in the heart of Tokyo. A new chapter of youth, love, and creative ambition begins with the return of someone he thought he had lost.
