Scars Of Summer: After returns to the story of Ryoka Enomoto, the girls’ basketball team’s star player and the protagonist’s childhood friend. Raised together in a rural village, the two share a long history, while the protagonist has quietly harbored feelings for her. This scenario-driven RPG explores the relationships that develop beyond his awareness, placing secrecy, jealousy, and unrequited affection at the heart of its NTR (Netorare) narrative. A sequel to Scars of Summer, After lets you explore events before or after the coastal school trip within each rival’s route. As in the previous game, relationship developments occur automatically behind the scenes while the protagonist spends summer vacation with Ryoka. The returning system lets players follow her increasingly complicated connections with a varied cast of rivals, including middle-aged men, vagrants, younger characters, bullied boys, inexperienced outsiders, and delinquents. Scars Of Summer: After assumes that players have already completed the original game. Its BSS-focused premise means there are no intimate scenes involving the protagonist, and its NTR storylines do not branch from or overturn the previous game’s true-love ending.
