Description

We’re definitely going to start a band. I promise!” Ten years ago, the protagonist made that vow to a childhood friend before they parted ways. Now, his father’s job brings him back to his hometown in late September, with summer already behind him. Caught between hope and uncertainty, he wonders whether the boy he once knew still remembers their shared dream. His first introduction as a transfer student takes an unexpected turn: amid his classmates’ bewildered stares, someone who appears to be an unfamiliar girl rushes up and hugs him. To his astonishment, this is the very boy he made that promise to. His childhood friend’s appearance has changed dramatically, but one question matters more than anything else—does he still want to make music together? In Ototama ~Boku-tachi Girls Band Desu~, that reunion becomes the starting point for a band made up of the protagonist and three other boys. With their sights set on performing at the school’s cultural festival, they begin working toward turning a long-ago promise into reality. As music brings them closer and their bonds deepen, the boys find themselves awakening to a new pastime before they even realize it.
