Description

My Wanton MIL follows Jason, his wife Alyssa, and her stepmother Melody as they navigate a painful chapter in their family life. An orphan who overcame years of hardship to become wealthy and successful, Jason has achieved much of what he once lacked. Yet his deepest wish—to build a family of his own—remains out of reach because of infertility. Alyssa loves Jason dearly, but fertility struggles affecting them both have taken a toll on their marriage. Overwhelmed by guilt, she begins to pull away from him, convinced that she is to blame and that he would be better off with another woman. Her growing distance comes not from a lack of love, but from the belief that leaving him behind might be the best thing she can do for him. Hoping to reach Alyssa before she withdraws any further, Jason invites Melody to stay in their home for an indefinite period. He believes her stepmother is the only person who can get through to her and challenge the doubts driving them apart. Melody’s arrival brings the three together under one roof, setting the stage for a story shaped by love, self-blame, and Jason’s longing for a family.
