Description

My Friend & My Mom follows Heiran, a young man who moves to a new town with his mother after his father’s death. Facing the loss together, they set out to build a new life in unfamiliar surroundings, hoping to find a fresh start. Yet one question continues to trouble Heiran: why does he resemble neither of his parents? With no answer in sight, he focuses on making his mother happy and keeping himself out of trouble. For now, those seem like simple enough goals—until he meets an old friend. Against a backdrop of grief, change, and unanswered questions, My Friend & My Mom introduces a story about starting over while the past remains close at hand. Heiran’s reunion marks a turning point in what he hoped would be a quiet new chapter.
