Description

Mind Over Morals follows the MC and a family fractured by resentment, unanswered questions, and a father’s imprisonment years earlier—supposedly for political reasons. Amanda, a retired nurse, remains passive amid the household’s conflicts, refusing to take sides or offer explanations. Lucia, the eldest sister and a police officer, directs her anger and hatred at the rest of the family, particularly Lucy, whose anarchic outlook and attraction to the criminal world clash with everything Lucia stands for. Lucy and the MC are both studying chemistry, but their attention increasingly turns to home: what once seemed like endless arguments over Lucy’s behavior begins to look more complicated. As conversations between Amanda and Lucia reveal signs of a hidden secret, the MC and Lucy set out to uncover the truth while navigating the challenges beyond their front door. Lucy’s past threatens to pull her in another direction. Her best friend Pamela, left unemployed after being kicked out of her family’s home, has returned to the criminal world through smuggling contracts—and wants Lucy working alongside her again. Having once run small side businesses with Ellie, Lucy swore she would leave that life behind. Yet the promise of money is difficult to ignore, especially when Pamela’s new connections prove more powerful than Lucy expected. Meanwhile, Camila’s affection for the MC can become overbearing, and she is struggling to conceal urges of her own. Her family life is equally troubled: her mother Emanuel has recently remarried, but Camila refuses to accept either her new stepfather Eugene or her stepsister. After each argument, she leaves home and ignores her mother’s calls. Your decisions shape a branching story that lets you help the judge or pursue a criminal path, all while balancing your studies, your relationship with Camila, and your other circles of friends. Every choice is remembered, and characters respond to the way you have treated them. With corruption, crime, intrigue, and moral uncertainty at its core, Mind Over Morals gives you room to act for good or ill—but never promises that the distinction will be clear.
