Description

In Magical Academy Dropout, the story unfolds in Nocturne, the City of Magic, where the art of alchemy has been lost. Louis Grayburn is the eldest son and heir of the Grayburn family, one of the Five Great Houses celebrated for their mastery of magic. Carrying the expectations of his distinguished lineage, he enrolls at Nocturne’s First Imperial Magic Academy to begin his magical studies. During the academy’s entrance ceremony, new students take part in the Ritual of Magical Power Appraisal. Each must cast their first spell, “Fast Magic,” to reveal their elemental affinity. With students and teachers eagerly watching, Louis steps forward—but his spell fails to activate. Bewildered, the vice principal checks him with a magical power meter and discovers an unthinkable truth: the Grayburn heir has zero magical power. Anticipation gives way to mockery, turning what should have been a proud occasion into a devastating public humiliation. From that day onward, Louis faces relentless taunts from his fellow students. In a city defined by magic, the heir to one of its most respected families finds himself powerless, isolated, and with nowhere left to turn.
