Kinky Harvest turns a vacation into a mysterious island adventure when a storm leaves you stranded, either alone or alongside a companion in solo or local co-op play. Given a rundown farm to restore, you soon learn that the Goddesses will demand tribute—and that other castaways may have arrived from another world, only to become half-human, half-animal beings. Rumors speak of sheep, horses, chickens, dogs, cats, pigs, and more. With nothing to lose, you begin building a new life among more than ten dazzling ladies who appear to be single, balancing farm work with fishing, mining, harvesting, taming, domestication, and sexual encounters. Beyond the fields, the island holds questions that a peaceful farming routine may never answer. How did humans become catgirls, cowgirls, and other animal-human hybrids? Who lived on your abandoned farm before you, and why have several former owners left traces behind? What sets the Islanders apart from everyone else? As danger lurks beneath the calm, you can choose whether to tend your land quietly or investigate further. Your journey offers possibilities for corruption or enlightenment, with opportunities to influence those around you toward crime and madness—or help lift them up. Created after Cute spent a long time pointing out the lack of a truly sexy co-op game, Kinky Harvest represents months of work and more than 1,000 hours of coding, alongside the rest of its development. Co-op is local; for a more comfortable shared experience, the developers recommend dual keyboards or keyboard-sharing options such as Teams, AnyDesk, Zoom, or another suitable device. The developers state that all music, UI, and code were created by humans, whether made in-house, commissioned, or donated. They have also handwritten more than 400 pages of text, while acknowledging that some mistakes remain. Version 0.0.1 contains over 10,000 images, a scale that made AI imagery necessary according to the team. They plan to gradually replace special-scene images, Paint-drawn sprites, and special content with commissioned artwork, with the Discord and Patreon communities voting on those commissions.
