Description

Invasion Of Anaria takes place in a small medieval country protected by the Sacred Flames, a barrier that keeps the dangerous Dreadrians beyond its borders. But what happens if those flames go out? A thousand years ago, a supernatural event granted the Dreadrians extraordinary abilities: flight without wings, strength enough to lift mountains, and eyes capable of firing red beams sharper than any sword. Driven to conquer the world, they forced other nations to shelter behind Sacred Flames of their own. Those defenses have not always held. Through tampering and sabotage, the Dreadrians have breached the barriers of countless countries, conquered their people, and put their serfs to work. Over time, they have become the most advanced nation in the world—and Anaria is their next target. Their arrival threatens more than the country’s independence, bringing scientific progress, modern medicine, and technological comforts alongside the prospect of foreign rule. At the center of this looming upheaval is JJ, an Anarian soldier recently appointed to the Kingsguard. He lives a modest, quiet life with his mother and sisters, but that peace is about to end. As the Dreadrians approach, the Anarians face a difficult choice: accept the benefits of conquest at the cost of their culture and flag, assimilate fully as honorary Dreadrians, or resist. NTR is an unavoidable part of the story.
