Description

In Hoping For A Brighter Future, a move to another country brings the promise of a fresh start—and the weight of an unresolved family crisis. You leave with your mother, sister, and brother to join your aunt abroad, while your father stays behind, alone and bewildered by your departure. But distance is unlikely to keep him in the dark for long. With powerful connections at his disposal, your father has the means to track you down, and he is not likely to let the situation rest. It is only a matter of time before he finds your family and discovers the bitter truth behind the move. Caught between the hope of a better future and the consequences of what has been left unsaid, this family story puts an uneasy departure at its heart. A new country may offer a new beginning, but it cannot guarantee that the past will stay behind.
